For those who may be returning to PCSSL, 2026 should look a lot like 2025 -- if you have suggestions for improvements you want to see this year, send them in to Director@PCSSL.org
For those new to PCSSL, hopefully everything you need to know is on this website, if not send your questions to Director@PCSSL.org
Registration (open now through end of January, late registration until February 7th as space permits).
Rosters and ID-Passes (need to have these submitted to your local PCSSL registrar by February 9th).
Mandatory Coaches Meeting -- tentatively scheduled for the weeknights during the week of February 23-27. (The week after the 2J Presidents Cup.)
As is past years, PCSSL games will be scheduled on Sundays during March, April, and May. The schedule will start March 1st. The last games scheduled will be May 17th (with games possible as late as May 31st if rainouts other problems force us to run late).
Teams are expected to play 8 games across these 12 weeks, so not every team plays every Sunday. The open weekends are intended to work around each team's local Spring Break vacations where players are not readily available. These may also work to free your team to participate in other local tournaments.
Rules will be based on the 2025 version and for the most part no major changes are expected. Based on previous feedback from coaches we are exploring some mechanism for enforcing penalties for blow-outs -- your feedback to Director@PCSSL.org can help.
Coaches should be familiar with everything in the Coaches section. Areas that need early attention include: the Registration process, the ID-Card processing. Areas that coaches must know at game time includes: how to use our MySoccerLeague tool for schedules, how to ensure referees like your Game Cards, and for the older age divisions someone needs to know how to use Substitution Timesheets. But there is alos information about when and how to communicate with your opposing coaches, expectations for handling blowout game situations, and an explanation about the issues attempting to reschedule games, and much more.
As we receive team applications, we will post a table of recognized teams and key information below.
